Little Man - Big Man

A wedding in St Lucia with Morgan.
I thought Morgan deserved his own gallery. I photographed him during a recent trip to St Lucia in the West Indies, where I photographed his mums wedding.
Throughout my time spent with his lovely family, Morgan gave me so much of his time, and allowed me to document his stay on the island.
He was wonderful to photograph, Morgan had so much enthusiasm and paitence with me, I couldn't have wished for a better subject.
These images capture him over the actual wedding day, culminating in him making his first public speech (which was awesome), to photographing him on his last couple of days on the island and show him relaxing around the pool.
Thanks Morgan, you're a real star.
The excitment of the big day begins to build.
The wedding ceremony isn't for another two hours, but Morgan is ready well before his mum.
Both Morgan and his step-dad Dillon, wore fantastic Welsh Tartan. Dillons jacket and kilt can be seen hanging behind Morgan.
It may be the Caribean, but the weather wasn't kind to us. The heavens opened up at six in the morning and it hardly stopped raining all day.
Not great for an outdoor wedding, but the storm clouds created some very dramatic light, and a dab of off camera flash helped this image along.
The wedding dinner was held on the terrace of Hotel Chocolat's pool, but the storm had taken the electricity supply down.
The whole dinner was lit with nothing but kerosine lamps, which created a beautiful warm light. Fantastic for creating dramatic photographs, but not so for reading your first public speech or trying to auto focus a camera.
With the wedding over, the following morning it was time to head off to the pool for some well deserved relaxation and fun.
I'd taken a photograph of Morgans step dad, with his face reflection in the Boucan Restaurants bar the day before at the wedding.
Morgan was really taken with the image when I showed it to him on the back of the camera, and asked if I could recreate the same sort of photograph, but with him as the model.
i think this was his favourite shot of the whole week.
When it wasn't raining the sun just belted down, too hot for us fair skinned, rain sodden Brits.
Morgan shelters from a hot late afternoon sun.
After an afternoon swimming, Morgan is ready for his next meal. Actually it seemed as if he was always ready for his next meal.
Where he put all the food he ate, is still a mystery to me.
Morgans sense of humour and good nature shone through all week long. It was a pleaure to spend so much time with this young man.
Time to leave. After a wonderful time on St Lucia @ Hotel Chocolat in Sofrier Bay, it was time to pack and leave the pool and sunshine.
One door closes for Morgan, but a whole new life with his mum and new dad await him.
God bless Morgan, have a fantastic life with your wonderful extended family.
